How It Works
Installation Process:
1. Drill hole to specified depth (When using our 7/8″ threaded rod, drill a 1″ hole to 8.5″ deep. This leaves exactly 3.5″ of exposed rod, perfect for using our 8×8 post base anchor kit)
2. Clean hole thoroughly with compressed air and brush
3. Inject epoxy in steady, full strokes
4. Insert threaded rod and allow to cure
5. Cure time: 45 minutes at 70°F (varies with temperature)
Once cured, the threaded rod becomes a permanent anchor point. Attach your post base to the rod threads, then connect timber structure to the post base.

Timber Frame Foundations
Anchor threaded rods to concrete piers, grade beams, and foundation walls. Provides the structural connection point for post bases and timber columns.
New Construction
Install anchors before concrete cures (wet concrete rated) or retrofit existing foundations. Works on cracked or damaged concrete where mechanical fasteners fail.
Below-Grade & Basement Applications
Crawl spaces, basements, and buried foundations—VIN-FIX is certified for wet concrete and submerged holes. SET-3G is not.
