The blade is 10-1/4 inches wide and can cut four inches deep in a single pass, which is incredible. It spins at 5,200 rpm so it can cut through just about anything.

The bevel on this circular saw is well beyond average. It can go up to a 60-degree angle so you can cut through tough spots evenly.

At 45 degrees, the blade cuts at a 2-3/4 inch depth. At 60 degrees, it cuts at 1-3/4 inch depth. And at 90 degrees, it cuts at 3-3/16 inch depth. It’s perfect for cutting roof rafters and trusses.

This saw has an electric brake that makes the blade stop almost immediately when you release the trigger, a great safety feature.

This circular saw weighs in at 17.8 pounds. That’s not too bad for a heavy-duty circular saw for tougher cutting jobs but it’s not as lightweight as it wants you to think it is.

The dimensions are 17.8 inches by 16.5 inches by 14.2 inches. With these dimensions, it can be a bit big to maneuver while you’re working.

Pros

This motor is impressive. It’s so powerful, it cuts through just about any material quickly and smoothly.
If you examine the construction of this circular saw, you will see how heavy-duty the aircraft aluminum shoe is. Even if you drop your circular saw several times, you shouldn’t have any issues. It won’t bend after impact or break to expose the blade. It’s made to last which makes it worth every penny.
Despite it being heavy, the handle grips are amazing. The soft grip is wonderful and our hands weren't sore when we were done working with the saw. We’ve used saws in the past that left our hands cramped or marked from holding on tightly to a plastic handle. This was a welcome change.
The electric brake comes in handy. It stops within seconds of releasing the trigger so there are no mistakes and less chance of injury.
The bevel goes up to 60 degrees which is super helpful for cutting tight spaces or joists.
The steel case makes traveling with the saw easy. It’s also super durable and can take quite a bit of impact.
The power cord for this circular saw is super long which helps when you’re moving around a big shop.
We love the five-year warranty. That’s dedication from Milwaukee to its customers. The longest warranty you usually see for power tools is about three years.

Cons

This isn’t the lightest circular saw to move around. It is a bit heavy and large. At the end of your project, you’ll feel that heaviness in your arms.
It runs on electricity so it does have a cord. This isn’t the end of the world but cordless saws are easier to move around.
It’s very pricey but that’s understandable for all the features and the heavy-duty construction.

I like this type of saw. I need one of these in my workshop. I am always there trying to cut something and feeling short of tools for different material to cut. With this tool I can cut different material. A powerful saw is necessary for every workshop.
