- ASTM A193 Grade B7: This means a minimum tensile strength of at least 125,000 psi, exceeding the requirements of our engineer’s recommendations. This is not cheap steel.
- Zinc yellow-chromate plating offers much better corrosion resistance than a galvanized finish and won’t rust out. It’s the exact same coating used in the off-road/automotive industry.
- Also useful for joining any two Timberlinx ‘half-connectors’ like the A475, AA675, and AB675 as a tension rod or across larger joints.
- Can be installed after your foundation is poured for increased accuracy (use a 1″ bit and an epoxy anchoring adhesive like Simpson SET-3G)
