    Hi Brice,

I came across this very helpful post for a post connection for a carport project that I’m trying to achieve with a similar knife plate detail. Can you provide me with the cad detail for this? also do have any more information on the actual steel plate connection, or any other details that may support this?

    thank you for sharing!

    Dear all,
I’d like to inquire how the stud wall is fastened/fixed to the sub floor?
to be precise, how floor plate is fixed to subfloor?
I havent come across any details yet.

Usually, they are just nailed together but in some regions of the country, a steel Simpson strap or structural screws are used in conjunction with the nails.
