Take a look at this twin size timber frame bed! Though the smallest of our bed series, the timber frame joinery and craftsman-like style give it the same rugged elegance. This would be a great way to incorporate the strength and beauty of timber frames into guest room or kid’s room! The sturdy 6×6 posts get a bit of refinement from the chamfered tops. And you’ll be proud to show off the mortise and tenon joinery to your friends and family! This would be a great weekend project or first timber frame adventure.
The overall dimensions are 3’-8” x 7’-4”. The headboard is 4’-3 ¾” tall; and the footboard is 3’-3 ¾” tall. We have incorporated a 1 ¼” x 1” channel for decking the headboard and footboard decking – or you can use the material of your choice. This is designed for a box spring- the purchaser must add a plywood platform if a box spring is not used.

The construction set contains 3 pages of completely dimensioned drawings so you can clearly understand how to cut and assemble the bed frame. The piece drawing set has 7 pages that contain 2D and 3D drawings of every timber, with each cut clearly explained. We also include peg and timber lists, so that you know exactly what to purchase to get started on this fun and rewarding project.

- All materials provided under this License are owned by Timber Frame HQ. Any License granted under this Agreement shall only convey a non-exclusive, non-sub-licensable, and non-transferable right to use the plans in accordance with the full terms of this Agreement.
- You are expressly prohibited from creating any derivative works in the plans or permit any other person to create any such derivative works. You are further expressly prohibited from reproducing* the plans in any fashion on any medium, except printing the plans directly from the PDF's you will receive. You may not modify the plans. Your License does not allow others to represent our design work as their own.
