These are all spectacular, I am working with a team of carpenters building a 7500 sqft home on a mountain, with 150-year-old hand hewn beams through-out. Will post pics when we are done, it is incredible.

Just want to make I recommendation. STOP placing TV’s above fireplaces. Oh I know, all these “professional” interior decorators just love the look and balance!!
Have they ever looked at the chronic problems people start having with their necks from day after day watching at 3 to 4 ft above eye level. Homeowners go for years and don’t know what is the cause. Headaches etc… Aside from the heat damage reducing the longevity of the electronics, your harming yourselves physically!!
We are very lucky. I and my daughter and her husband, our two homes are timber-framed. And even though the temperature went down to -19 degrees the homes stayed at 64 degrees. Now when the sun is out, the homes are now 73 degrees even though the temperature is now -4 degrees.
I’d love to see the photos. I imagine you are done by now, although it is a very large home and perhaps it’s not completed yet?
