Who We Are
At Timber Frame HQ, we're all about bringing dreams to life with beautiful, functional, and downright inspiring timber frames. We believe that timeless craftsmanship, cutting-edge design, and a bit of quirky fun go a long way toward creating incredible structures—and even more incredible relationships. Our fully remote team is driven by a passion for architecture, engineering, and good, old-fashioned customer service. When we're not geeking out over timber connections or the latest design software, you'll find us sharing laughs and championing one another's success.
What You'll Do
This Timber Frame Project Manager role is perfect for someone who can wear multiple hats—at least two of which are equal parts: sales lead, design wizard, and project wrangler. In this position, you'll:
- Drive Sales and Build Relationships
- Provide comprehensive, informed guidance to prospective and current clients on our timber frame offerings.
- Prepare proposals, pitch designs, and conduct follow-ups that turn prospects into happy customers.
- Share success stories, offer insightful solutions, and maintain warm connections with new leads and established partners.
- Manage Projects from Sketch to Completion
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, vendors, and internal teams.
- Collaborate with designers, architects, and engineers to translate big ideas into actionable project plans.
- Juggle timelines, budgets, and resources with finesse, ensuring no beam is left unturned.
- Work Your Design Magic
- Use (and love!) design software to create or review timber frame plans that delight our clients.
- Keep an eye on technical details while incorporating creativity and flair in each design.
- Incorporate feedback from project stakeholders to continuously refine and improve each frame's look, feel, and structural integrity.
- Champion Communication and Collaboration
- Host regular check-ins to keep everyone on the same page—whether at the office, on-site, or dialing in from the other side of the world.
- Provide friendly, honest guidance to clients about the process, expectations, and project goals.
- Look for opportunities to exceed expectations and bring fun into each collaboration.
- Be the Timber Frame HQ Ambassador
- Promote our brand's core values of innovation, authenticity, and craftsmanship.
- Help develop content and share insights supporting Timber Frame HQ's mission of educating, inspiring, and empowering enthusiasts and professionals.
- Nurture Relationships and Close Deals
- Occasionally, assist with sales responsibilities, such as preparing proposals, giving virtual tours of design concepts, and following up on potential leads.
- Use your relationship-building superpowers to turn curious onlookers into die-hard timber frame fans.

- Design Savvy: You're comfortable using Cadwork—with 2+ years of full-time experience. We are not offering training for this skill.
- Superb Communication Skills: You're equally comfortable chatting it up with clients, engineers, or the folks in the workshop. You know how to speak each person's language and keep them engaged and informed.
- A Curious Mindset: You love learning new things, tinkering with tech tools, and testing innovative solutions that make building timber frames a breeze.
- Passion and Positive Energy: You bring enthusiasm, creativity, and a collaborative spirit to every project and person you meet.
