How tall is it at the highest point? Need to know for HOA authorization
As drawn with the plate height remaining the same, it is 14’6-11/16″. You can lower the plate height a little, let us know if you need a lower roof pitch to get by.
Couple more questions: 1) could the plan be modified so the 4 posts are placed on an 8′ x 8′ square? If so, approximately what would the roof dimensions be (H x W); and 2) how high would it be from the ground to the first horizontal beam/joist? I have limited space (garden home/patio). Thank you!

Is this a timber framed plan? I’m interested in hand cutting the joints- not use the metal plates. Am I correct in that this is a timber frame?
It is a full timber frame with mortise and tenon joinery.
Is this shed 8 feet wide measured at the posts or the rafter ends?
Bill, this measures 8×12 from outside to outside of the posts
I would like to purchase this plan with addition of a “dormer” in the center of the roof on one side, as you did on model “three gable pavillion”. Also need an approximate finished weight. I intend to mount this structure to a flat bed trailer. Length can be adjusted to accommodate dormer dimensions.
