It depends on the number of joints and the complexity of those joints. Whether or not if the roof system is common rafters or principal rafters and purlins. Also type of wood. I can tell you that when I cut a eastern white pine post for a simple 12×16′ shed, it took me 4 hours to layout and cut all the joints.
