Hello, Does anyone have an estimate for how long it would take a professional, using good/fast tools, to cut the joinery for the 24 x 36 barn? Thanks.

That, I believe, is not a very easy question to answer. Most people would say, “it all depends”. It depends on the number of joints and the complexity of those joints. Whether or not if the roof system is common rafters  or principal rafters and purlins. Also type of wood.

I can tell you that when I cut a eastern white pine post for a simple 12×16′ shed, it took me 4 hours to layout and cut all the joints.

It is not an easy question to answer.  I think one of the biggest questions I have for you would be how much material handling are you going to have.  How much space and sawhorses will you have?
